Destination Imagination
Destination Imagination is a team-based, year-long problem solving competition with science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics components. Practice will take place every week whenever it works for your team and manager.
If interested, attend a required informational meeting 9/18 in the Middle School at 6:30pm.
- 5th graders need to come to tryouts 9/11 at West
- 6th-8th graders assemble your own team of 2-7 students

Student Council
Student Council is for students looking to boost school spirit as positive, responsible role model students. Together, students work to create fun experiences for the greater student population of Wright City Middle School.
Meetings will be held after school once a week from 2:15pm to 3:00pm.

Art Clubs
Art club will be available for all students, for each grade-level. The focus will be on school related themes, and holiday related activities, along with enrichment opportunities related to fine arts and craft making. This is a year-long program ending in May. We will meet a total of 8 - 9 times per school year.
Art club will meet immediately after school till 4:00 pm. All students who are interested, will need to get a parent signed permission slip from Mrs. Burtelow.
- 5th Grade: Art club will be the first Thursday of the month. First meeting will be September 5th, 2024.
- 6th Grade: Art club will be the second Thursday of the month. First meeting will be September 12th, 2024.
- 7th Grade: Art club will be the third Thursday of the month. First meeting will be September 19th, 2024.
- 8th Grade: Art club will be the fourth Thursday of the month. First meeting will be September 26th, 2024.

Junior Youth Challenge
The CEF Junior Youth Challenge is a club where middle-schoolers will be able to gather to enjoy faith, fun, and friends. Students will participate in activities that are faith-centered, build genuine friendships, and share encouragement.
Meetings will take place on Thursdays beginning 10/24/24 from 2:20pm-4:00pm. Please see Mrs. Heuser if you are interested in joining.

E-Sports Club
E-Sports clubs is for students who enjoy gaming. Students can bring in their gaming console, drop it off in the front office, and join the club in the library after school once a month (on Fridays). Student must also have a 3-4 HOWL score to participate.

National Junior Honor Society
National Junior Honor Society is an organization at Wright City Middle School that recognizes students for their academic achievements, leadership, and character. Students plan and participate in community service projects, play games, leadership activities, and more.
NJHS will meet once a month in the library either before or after school.
Student will be invited to fill out an application, if they meet the criteria listed above. Talk to Mrs. Barnhart for more information.

3s and 4s for your HOWL scores

0 behavior referrals that result in out of school suspension.
